Every month, the artists of Soirées Habibi perform for cinema-themed drag nights at La Flèche d'Or, a non-profit, activist performance venue. The artist cabaret coexists there with solidarity-based activities (pay-what-you-want canteen, street outreach, legal aid). From collective rehearsals to public performances, "Habibi, Chanson pour mes ami.e.s" enters the intimacy of creating a show and paints a portrait of five artists and a solidarity-driven space. It is an opportunity to question how the social commitment of some fuels the way others take the stage, leading up to the grand finale: a socially conscious, festive, and welcoming drag show.
